Our customer in New Hyde Park was performing renovations on their home and wanted two bathrooms redone from floor to ceiling. This bathroom was the first of the pair. With four young boys, the homeowner was looking for functionality while still maintaining a simple, handsome look. The existing bathroom had a 6-foot bathtub which was not need since there was one upstairs, and people rarely took baths. Together we agreed to opt away from a vanity in lieu for walking room, removed the tub and instead built a nice sized 36" stall shower and a 2-1/2' closet for all storage needs in its place.
