This project was a huge undertaking that involved demolition of two small bedrooms and one regular sized bathroom to construct one large bedroom and one impressive bathroom.
This project encompassed all of the following:
- Fully gut all three rooms to sub-floor and wall beams.
- Temporary support and removal of load-bearing wall.
- Installation of new support header to support roof peak.
- New Insulation, sheetrock and sub-floor.
- New hardwood floor in bedroom.
- New stylish wood accents on bedroom ceiling in front of walk-in closets.
- Space-saving sliding pocket doors for closets.
- New concrete sub-floor in bathroom.
- All new plumbing re-piped from basement.
- Open concept walk-in shower with custom-built river rock shower base.
- Stone and glass tile throughout shower and around tub.
- Drop-in deep jacuzzi tub with roman tub filler.
- Handsome 4 foot vanity with marble top.
- Ergonomic 17" high toilet bowl.
- Solid brass construction chromed fixtures throughout.
- Custom built-in towel shelf.
- Cathedral ceilings in both bathroom and bedroom reaching 11' in bathroom, 12'6" in bedroom.
